With his beautifully clean tone, technical brilliance, and sense of architecture and imagery, Steven Osborne ranks easily among the greatest pianists of his generation.  Virtually every recording he has released has been stunning, especially in the more modern repertoire.  Building on the “Moonlight” Sonata he gave us on his last visit, he turns completely to Beethoven on this occasion.
